demo ("we") is a local group of the European Law Students' Association UK at demo. This notice explains how we use personal information on this website.

What we collect

When you apply for an event or sign up for updates we collect the details you enter, such as your name, email address and year of study, plus any answers to the questions on the form.

We measure visits without cookies: we count page views using an anonymous code that changes every day, so we cannot identify you or follow you across websites.

Why we use it

To run our events and activities, to contact you about something you applied for, and to send updates if you asked for them. Our lawful basis is your consent or our legitimate interest in running the society.

How long we keep it

Event applications are deleted automatically 12 months after the event. You can unsubscribe from updates at any time.

Who can see it

Our committee, and ELSA UK administrators who support the platform. Our website is hosted in the United Kingdom. We never sell your information.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by contacting demo@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
